Renuka installed rooftop solar and a battery 5 years ago when she purchased a home in Balgowlah Heights. She has ducted heating/ cooling and 2 reverse cycle units. Her power bills in winter are between $250 and $350. Additionally she has a heat pump for the pool in summer and her family use air-conditioning freely when required in summer. She proudly returns power to the grid and is happy to have made the decision to go solar. Free power all day has allowed her freedom, flexibility and peace of mind.
Chris, Warriewood.
Fox Wardobes in Warriewood are conscious that the large volume of materials in their industry are leaving a considerable environmental footprint. Co-Founder Chris dares us to imagine the collective impact if all cabinetmakers embraced this recycling process, or all builders. His leadership could introduce a groundbreaking shift, preventing monumental amounts of waste reaching landfill annually and saving stored carbon in each product diverted. Their next goal is to reduce their reliance on petrol in their fleet vehicles. Well done, Fox Wardrobes!
Lily, Curl Curl.
Lily found that her gas cooktop was contributing to her son’s asthma flares and making their dog sick. She thought it would be hard to stop cooking with gas but has found Induction cooking fast, clean and accurate. She has also now removed her gas heater because of the harmful chemicals that flare up asthma and allergies. Lily wants everyone to know the health impacts of gas cooking and heating. If you want to give induction cooking a try, get a desktop camping induction cooktop or an AirBNB rental with induction cooking and give it a test run. Your health will improve!
“I have a pool and use airconditioning and heating all year round. Installing solar on my home has kept my energy bills to $300 every quarter."
- Renuka, Balgowlah Heights.
